What Are Thermal Cameras Used For

Thermal cameras are called thermal because they detect heat. They take that detection of heat of transform it into a picture that we can see. You might have heard these referred to as thermal imaging cameras but either way you say it they have the same meaning. There are a wide range of uses for these cameras and most of them are for surveillance. The military has tons of uses for thermal cameras and so does law enforcement. Detectives, border patrol, you name it... there are more than a few government agencies that utilize thermal imaging cameras for the security and protection of our citizens.
